Description

Presented here is the COMPLETE organ work of JS Bach played by Marie-Claire Alain. The work was recorded in Denmark on the organ church of the following city: Aabenraa, Aarhus, Copenhagen, Halsingborg, Middelfart, Schleswig, Sonderborg & Varde.

This set was awarded the "Prix de la plus grande realisation phonographique mondiale" by the Academie du disque Francais in 1968.

This was pressed in France for Erato # STU 70 030, 70 031, 70 070, 70 071, 70 093, 70 094, 70 099, 70 100, 70 146, 70 147, 70 148, 70 149, 70 198, 70 199, 70 242, 70 243, 70 244, 70 308, 70 309, 70 310, 70 311, 70 360, 70 361, 70 362. The Box is impeccable and is presented very nicely with a "book like finish".

The leaflet is signed on the cover by MC Alain. The signature was obtain July 11th 2000 at the St. Jean Baptiste Church in Montreal. I have inspected each and everyone of the 25 LPs and they are really in MINT condition. This set was clearly very rarely played.
