<p>Here's a set of 4 Eric Clapton lps, one from Germany, 2 from the UK, and one from the US, totalling 6 discs and ALL MINT!.  I normally don't use the "M" word but these records are absolutely perfect.  If you're looking to expand or upgrade your Clapton collection, I guarantee you will not do better than these!</p>

<p>Backtrackin', Starblend Masterpieces Eric 1, UK pressing of a 2lp retrospective with custom inner sleeves and gatefold cover.  The four sides are divided into History, Singles, Live, and Classics.  Covers Cream, Derek and the Dominos, Blind Faith and his solo years.  All his best in audiophile quality sound.  Cover is near mint, discs are MINT.</p> 

<p>From the Cradle, Reprise Duck 9362-45735-1, UK pressing of his tribute to the bluesmen who influenced his work.  Cover mint minus, vinyl MINT.  Highlight is his version of Sonny Thompson's I'm Tore Down.</p>

<p>Pilgrim, Reprise Duck 9362-46577-1, German pressing with custom inner sleeves.  Cover would be near mint but for the beginning of a 2 inch seam split in the middle of the top.  The top is NOT split, but there is a seperation from the front slick.  Both vinyls are MINT.  Has the hit My Father's Eyes.</p>

<p>August, Warner Brothes  Duck 9-25476-1, with gatefold cover.  Cover near mint with a 1/2 inch very thin sawcut bottom right, vinyl MINT.  Inclueds the shrink sticker touting It's In The Way That You Use It, but the highlight is easily Tearing Us Apart, featurng Tina Turner.</p>

The Rant: I'm tired of receiving lps graded MINT that have scratches and scuffs. Also the ones that are so dirty the seller can't see the scratches and scuffs. I'm also dizzy from trying to decipher mint minus from EX+, VG+ from EX, etc, with no description of what caused that rating.

The commitment: I'll describe the item as much as I need to to give a clear picture of the condition. If there are flaws, I'll describe them. If there are ANY marks OF ANY KIND on the vinyl I'll play through them to make sure they do not affect the listening experience. If they do, the listing will say so. Grading is an arbitrary thing, so I'll assign a grade, and you can use the description to cross check. Please e:mail any questions prior to the close of the auction. I will guarantee your money back, plus your postage, if the description of the item is inaccurate.
