ABOUT TEST PRESSINGS

Test pressing LPs are the very first to come off the stampers and are thus closer to the sound of the master tape. LPs of this type are not usually offered for sale to consumers but are used by record companies for evaluation purposes. It is only after the test pressings are approved that the actual LPs can be pressed. Test Pressings are typically packaged in plain white jackets with blank record labels. Occasionally there will be hand-written catalog numbers, pressing dates or other pertinent information ont he covers and /or labels.

Unfortunately, we can not decipher the exact date and stamper used for this release but, the quality should be much better than stock pressings and the collectability (due to rarity) make these a must have for fans and audiophiles alike.

Condition is everything and accurately describing it is just as important.  For example, I went through a phase of buying Beatles LPs from as many countries as possible so I could discern differences and quality - to do this I would only purchase LPs that were M- or sealed, unless it was a strict rarity. 

Finally, being as fanatical as you, I want you to get the same feeling I do when I find a gem that is in great condition.  Am I perfect? No..but rest assured I will fix it - you never know, someday you may have an item that is on my "want list" (~:  Thanks!
