What you have here is one of the RAREST UK ERIC CLAPTON PROMO ONLY ITEMS a NEAR MINT (UNPLAYED) copy of the "E.C. NOW - AUGUST" promo only 5 x 7" singles and a massive PROMO ONLY FAMILY TREE POSTER from 1986. AN ORIGINAL PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
Only 250 copies were ever made of this PROMOTIONAL ITEM and given to key industry people (this copy comes from a record industry person who stored it and never played it since the day it was received !!!), THIS IS THE ONLY WAY THIS CLASSIC ALBUM CAN BE OBTAINED IN THIS FORMAT !!!
This promo was named E.C. NOW - ERIC CLAPTON NOW was done to promote the album "AUGUST" as a PROMO ITEM ONLY, and you could NOT BUY THIS in the shops, I have only seen one other for sale in the last 24 years !!!
This PROMO ONLY BOX SET was made by DUCK RECORDS / WARNER BROS. RECORDS, and was given the unique catalogue number EC BOX 1.
The box set contains 10 tracks on 5 individual 7" singles, all with UNIQUE PROMO ONLY PICTURE SLEEVE, and the box also contains a GIANT ERIC CLAPTON FAMILY TREE POSTER tracking his musical career from his first band THE ROOSTERS, through THE YARDBIRDS, CREAM, BLIND FAITH to his current band, done by celebrated family tree ARTIST PETE FRAME, a REAL COLLECTORS ITEM !!!
As I said the whole package (BOX, SINGLES, COVER, POSTER) is in UNPLAYED CONDITION.
