ERIC CLAPTON UNPLUGGED Vinyl LP 1992. Play tested

Original 1992 recording on the Reprise label (WX 480; 9362-45024-1). Condition is Used. Dispatched with Shutl. With black paper inner sleeve in excellent condition. Outer sleeve in excellent condition with just a couple of tiny corner dents and some light creases with the exception of an old price sticker mark and nearby surface tear, both in top right corner of front cover (see detail photo). Hence sleeve overall is only graded VG.

Play tested - side 1 is perfect on my equipment apart from a few crackles (but might not be if you have something super-fancy!). The vinyl and the label are in excellent condition visually. Side 2 is similar except that there are 2 audible needle scratches, one on track 1 (Runnin On Faith) that isn't too bad, and a more significant one across tracks 5 (Malted Milk) and the first half of track 6 (Old Love). I've taken close up photos of these scratches. I struggle to grade this because the quality generally is almost "excellent" apart from the 2 scratches - probably GOOD overall (see definitions below).

Note that on some photos you may see dust on the vinyl, that’s because I have always believed that minimum contact maintains the vinyl in the best condition, so I only dust-wipe them just before playing. None of my records have been “cleaned”.

Note that I personally purchased this LP brand new so I know it’s history and how seldom it has been played.

I have many LPs for sale (and am adding more as I find time to play-check them) and can maintain the total postage cost at £3.60 up to the limits of my bubble pack envelopes (approx 4 LPs, depending on thickness) as long as you contact me AFTER buying but BEFORE making payment so I can adjust the invoice.

By the way I make no money on the postage at £3.60. After a problem with an alleged non-receipt of a package I now send everything “signed for” with Shutl / Hermes, which costs £2.79 per package. The bubble pack envelopes cost over 33p each. eBay charge me 10% (36p per package), and Paypal charge 3.4% (over 12p per package). If you add that lot up it costs £3.61

I can also offer International despatch, but the rates vary quite a lot according to destination and value (for insurance). For example to France – up to £20 value costs £5.60, from £20 - £25 costs £9.86, and £25 - £50 costs £11.20. Under £25 these are unsigned for, and untracked services. The costs above include the eBay and Paypal charges. I will only ever charge what it costs me for despatch. As for UK despatch I can generally pack 4 (or maybe more) LPs in the same package.

Grading System

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite notable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the sleeves or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and even very occasional mild audible scratches. The sleeves and contents may suffer from slight scuffing of edges, small spine splits, minor discolouration, and seams could be unglued etc but in general it will appear as you would expect for the age.
