Out to Lunch! is a 1964 album by jazz multi-instrumentalist Eric Dolphy. His only recording on Blue Note as leader, it was originally issued as BLP 4163 and BST 84163. It is generally considered one of the finest albums issued by the label, as well as one of the high points in 1960s avant-garde jazz and in Dolphy's oeuvre.[2] The album cover was designed by Reid Miles, and features an image of a shop door with a "Will Be Back" sign displaying a clock with seven hands.
