Recorded in 1964 and not released until 1968 (this album) comes Eric Dolphy with his album Iron Man on Douglas SD785 silver label. The five cuts on this album were not released until this album came out because they were considered "too futuristic". This is the original label and catalogue number. This record was reissued several years later with a different number. This is the original!! Eric Dolphy was helped out by Richard Davis, Clifford Jordan, Huey Simmons, Prince Lasha, Woody Shaw Jr., Robert Hutcherson,Eddie Khan, and J.C. Moses.
