Condizioni : la copertina è in grande stato, si può soltanto notare nella parte alta del retro una leggera traccia rettangolare giallognola causata dalla rimozione di uno sticker, NEAR MINT / il vinile presenta qualche leggera opacizzatura sul primo lato. Nella seconda facciata sono presenti pochi modesti segnetti e un paio di piccole chiazze biancastre sulla quinta traccia. Quella di maggior dimensione è visibile nella foto n° 4, approssimativamente in mezzo al cerchio di un elastico che ho appoggiato sul vinile per evidenziare meglio il difetto. L'ascolto rivela pochissimi e lievi clicchettii, appena poco più udibili nei brevi attimi in cui la puntina passa sopra le due chiazzette; grande stato, EX

Condition : cover is in great shape, you can only note a slight yellowish rectangular trace caused by the removal of a sticker in the upper part of the back, NEAR MINT  / vinyl has some slight cloudy impressions on the first side. In the other hand you can see a few minor scuffs and a couple of small whitish spots on the fifth track. The one with the largest dimension is visible in photo No. 4 approximately in the middle of the rubber band that I put on the record to better highlight the flaw. Listening reveals very few and slight clicks, barely more audible in the brief moments in which the stylus passes over the two small spots, EX

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : interessante partitura per film completamente basata sulla musica elettronica dei sintetizzatori. Si tratta comunque non di ricerca sperimentale o musica d’avanguardia ma di sonorità elettroniche al servizio ed alla descrizione delle immagini del film. In questo caso le definizioni usuali che identificano questo genere musicale con termini quali dark ambient, industrial, abstract sebbene corretti lasciano il tempo che trovano. Infatti Foremans si basa sull'improvvisazione delle sue sonorità elettroniche per raccontarci in musica la trama del film. Si succedono così atmosfere ipnotiche, solenni e gotiche con sensazioni d'angoscia e di paurosa attesa. A tratti i suoni si fanno più cupi e ossessivi e nella mente si risvegliano certe musicalità dei Goblin specialmente quelle di "Profondo Rosso". Ma attenzione: non c’è alcun plagio, tutt'altro!

Notes : interesting film score completely based on the electronic music of synthesizers. It is not however experimental or avant-garde music but electronic sound at the service and to the description of film pictures. In this case, the usual definitions that identify this kind of music with terms such as dark ambient, industrial, abstract although correct take more effort than it's worth. In fact Foremans relies on improvisation of his electronic sonorities to tell the movie plot in music. Thus, hypnotic, solemn and gothic atmospheres with sensations of distress and suspense alternate. At times the sonorities are more dark and obsessive and our mind is awakened by Goblin's some musicality in particular those from "Deep Red aka Deep Red".
