Description
Artist: Erica Morini – 1st Violin; Felix Galimir – 2nd Violin; Walter Trampler – Viola; Laszlo Varga – Cello.
Title: “Beethoven/Mozart String Quartets”
Label: WESTMINSTER.” Labels are blue with silver text. Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl, with deep groove. Catalog number is LC 3017.
Year: late 50s/early 60s. (est.)
Condition:
DISCS: Vinyl is gorgeous NEAR MINT, as clean as can be found. The playing surfaces are immaculate, with a high luster, perhaps played once. Plays flawlessly with superb fidelity. Labels are clean and pristine with no spindle trail lines.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG+ to VG++. Front is beginning to show a bit of ring wear, and there is a ding at the top left corner. A few minor traces of wear along bottom seam are beginning to appear. Reverse has darkened slightly with age. No writing, stickers, cutout indications, or other flaws. Overall a very nice jacket to accompany the lovely disc.
