Beautiful copy of the original 1961 stereo pressing of Erica Morini and Rudolf Firkusny playing sonatas for violin and piano by Franck and Mozart, on Decca DL-710038. A beautiful recording from the glory days of stereo, truly a breathtaking sound. Morini’s violin feels like it is right in the room with you. Amazing. The disc is in beautiful shape and the sound is so perfect you really feel the presence of the instruments. There are a couple of superficial scuffs on the disc but it plays pretty much flawlessly and just beautifully. I don’t hear a single tick anywhere. The cover has light edgewear, cornerwear and ringwear noticeable in spots but really not too bad. There is a 1.5” seam split at the bottom, and overall signs of use and age but still well intact and quite striking. Comes with the original plastic lined Decca inner sleeve as well. A lovely original copy that sounds incredible.
