Description
Up for auction is an ultra rare copy of the Erica Pomerance psych folk classic album "You Used To Think" released on ESP Records (ESP Disk 1099) in 1968. This is a guaranteed authentic and original first pressing, not a cheap reissue. Cover is in great shape, no ring wear (rare for this album which has a matte surface), no tears or separations. Corners are sharp, no bumps, no dings. Seams are strong, no splits, though does have a small area of rubbing top seam left near spine. Back cover is perfect, no writing, no ring wear, no aging. I'd grade the cover Near Mint Minus (NM-). The vinyl looks great, no obvious scratches, scuffs, are needle marks. Nice original high shine to the surfaces. No marks around spindle holes, indicating very little previous handling or play. I seriously doubt this record has been played very much, if at all, over the last 45 years. Some very faint superficial signs of having been taken in and out of paper inner sleeve a few times, and some faint adhesion spots from the same. Can be seen only at certain angles and certain lighting conditions. Not significant. Does not affect playback at all. Play tested, and it generally sounds clean and clear. No real distortions to detract you from the music, and certainly nothing that competes with the music. Not audiophile pristine, but very, very clean for and ESP pressing, which can be uneven to say the least. This ones a keeper. No need to upgrade. 100% guaranteed satisfaction, no risk buying. Money back, no questions asked for any reason. My 100% positive feedback on records speaks for itself. Buy with confidence. This is a very rare album, and you're not likely to find another one in this condition any time again soon.
