Erik Truffaz has never been able to escape comparison to Miles Davis, not only for his choice of instrument (though neither player owns sole rights to the trumpet) but for his fusion of jazz, funk, and soul. But this is a great record, and backed by an excellent trio, Truffaz works his way through richly textured pieces that showcase his considerable talent

LABES: NEAR MINT
Clean, unmarked labels - just a couple of light spindle traces per side
VINYL Visual: EXCELLENT+
All four vinyl surfaces are 'as-new' - there are some in-vinyl pressing blemishes and faint hairlines but none of these have any affect on the sound
VINYL Audio: MINT
Fantastic sound quality to this one and only vinyl pressing and my play-check at volume found nothing to fault - plays beautifully and Miles Davis (c 1972) comparisons notwithstanding, a mighty fine piece of work
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
Still in the original shop shrink-wrapping the single sleeve is also like-new and only given a (near) mint due to a tiny knock to the bottom corner
