Bemerkungen / Comments:

Erkin Koray-Saskin Türküola releases a new Erkin Koray LP with recordings mostly from Erkin Koray II (previously released by Dogan Plak in 1976) and some bonus tracks. The cover is from the photo sessions of Erkin Koray which are originally made for Koray’s famous Hard Rock concert in Fitas Cinema in 1974 when he performed a repertoire of covers of hard rock songs. Photos from this session were used in the single “Fesupanallah-Komsu Kizi” on a cassette that uses mainly the repertoire of Istanbul Plak and in an other release of Türküola which uses a similiar tracklist and is pressed on vinyl in 2007. Although the track list is based on Erkin Koray II , it also contains 2 bonus tracks from the legendary Elektronk Türküler which are Karli Daglar and Yalnizlar Rihtimi. The quality of Türküola is perceived in every inch of the record once again beginning with the psychedelic cover art to the powerful sound derived from Türküola masters.
