The record is from the ULTRA-rare DGG (Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft) series of LPs (now LONG out of print), catalog # LPM 18081. This LP was pressed and issued on vinyl in May 1957.

CONDITION Details -  

The JACKET is of the gatefold variety. The seams are stitched where the record is held. The jacket is completely intact, with no splits. Given the vintage of the record (47 years old), some shelf wear can be seen with the jacket - corners are slightly weakening, slight discolorations, etc.. Overall, still VG++ to near mint in condition.

The LP has no detectable marks - it appears near mint and played that way (the vinyl was spot play graded)! Since the LP is housed in a plastic sleeve inside the jacket, it is recommended that a thorough record cleaning be completed before playing the disc. The record has the famous YELLOW record label with blue/white tulips running around the perimeter of the label, with BLUE & RED lettering. The LP was pressed in GERMANY. 

The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
