WOW!! Up for sale is a near mint copy on Gennett Electrobeam 6044 of one of Ernest Stoneman's hardest-to-find 78s ("Kenney Wagner's Surrender"/"The Poor Tramp Has To Live"), with the original sleeve included! This 78 features the famed fiddler Kahle Brewer accompanying Ernest Stoneman while he sings and plays the harmonica and guitar. This record dates from 1927, and is a real treat for any collector of early country music!
As stated, the record is in near mint shape and has no needle digs, warps or excess wear. The only issues I could find with it are a barely visible, inaudible 1" scratch running from the end of the "Kenney Wagner's Surrender" side into the lead-out grooves, and some light spindle hole wear on both sides. The sleeve still holds the record well, but it has some tears and curled edges due to age.
