A NOTE ABOUT 10" RECORDS! All 10" LP's are mono and play with surface noise! Even if they look perfect, chances are they will play with some backround sounds. 10" LP's were only produced from appx. 1949 - 1955 and in fairly small quantities, and without inner sleeves. Back then hardly anyone had high quality turntables, but everyone had "record players", (but no record cleaners) which had heavy tonearms that were not very kind to record grooves. Today we have high quality turntables and cartridges that will amplify all of the imperfections left by the old inferior equipment.(This can also pertain to 50's & 60's 12" records too.) So please, if this is something that really bothers you, please consider the ressue or the CD. I have play graded all of my 10" LP's to try to honestly give them an accurate grade.
