Description
Welcome to this auction for a very unusual Beatles album - a normal copy of the 1967 To 1970 blue compilation album with no label for side one - two side three labels. Record label states Side 3 - Back InThe USSR, etc, record plays Side 1 - Strawberry Fields, etc.... So error is the duplicate Side 3 label - see pictures.
The album cover appears well thumbed - wear at edges of sleeve - slightly grubby - not written on. Includes original blue lyric inner sleeves, but these have split - will supply with new inner sleeves too.
Pressing nos are YEX 909-1 YEX 910-3 YEX 911-3 YEX 912-1 - early pressings - see Discogs
(Black vinyl) Records play adequately - some surface noise and the odd scratch, but IMHO acceptable quality....
But the rarity is in the error - must appeal to the serious Beatle collector, or the collector of oddities ?!?
Sensible start price at just over the odds for an album of this condition.
