ESG 12" E.P. 99 Records Martin Hannett 1981
Rare opportunity to acquire such a clean copy of ESG's amazing six-track 12" E.P. on the New York label 99 Records. Purchased new in 1981 from New York's Bleecker Bob's record shop by Julian Cope, the item was immediately archived in a clear polythene bag, ensuring that it has survived the decades with barely a scratch. The cover remains tough and glossy, its spine straight and the outer papers without rips of any kind. There is, however, some very minor ring wear at the top of the cover front and back, also with several minor specks of dirt on the front. Both sides have just been played through: a very loud crisp cut and a great sound! Please read below for the vinyl report. Many thanks for looking.
