ESG’s 1981 single on Factory records recorded and produced in Manchester by the legendary producer Martin Hannett.

ESG (Emerald , Sapphire and Gold) three sisters Renee ,Valerie and Marie Scroggins from the South Bronx formed the band in 1978.

ESG is a musical snapshot of the melting pot that was New York City in the early 80’s, which captured a unique hybrid of funk , disco and hip hop that has endured into one of the most influential legacies in dance music, with grooves populating commercials movies and playlists everywhere .

The track UFO is one of the most sampled tracks ever.

Record and sleeve are in excellent condition , this is a rare little single priced to sell.
