Very scarce vinyl pressing on Wichita. The sole European vinyl edition of this folk/psych living classic. Although this copy has some flaws, it's an acceptable substitute for the impossibly rare (and prohibitively expensive) Time-Lag (U.S.) edition.
Cover condition, overall grade: Excellent
Lovely matte finish design sleeve with olive green and dark cream printing. Copy is in excellent condition
Two-sided insert, printed in olive and cream, is in very fine condition.
Vinyl condition, overall grade: EX
Good glossy vinyl with next to no wear (played only once). There is the occasional light pop and some surface noise is evident between tracks, typical of this pressing.
It's a rewarding play with some benefits over the digital edition, especially in the vocals and electronics/pedals. Dynamics, strings, bass and vocals come through well-balanced and pleasant. There is the occasional brief instance of pops, fuzz or distortion to be heard, but overall, a worthy example of this demanding acoustic/electric chamber psych allbum.
