Description
Two highlife songs by E. T. Mensah & His Tempos Band:
“Soro Ahinman” - sung and composed by Bob Cole - is a song about mortality. “Today one is gone, tomorrow another one will go. So by tomorrow, where is your honour when they carry you away and the flies can play around you...”
"Kasapa" means “positive talk” - sung by Lantei Lamtey, the song advices the listener to speak positive things because when the mouths says positive things, then there will be peace...

Sound clips(s) are from the record for sale in this auction. Clips were recorded in mono on a Thorens and a modified Denon DL 103 (with 65 µm stylus) using RIAA equalization (not FFRR as stated on the label, I do not have an multi eq phono pre at the moment, and I also did not want to edit = manipulate soundfiles, finally, the late FFRR curve is not so far away from RIAA). NO sound editing or filters, of course...
