Up for auction is ETTA JAMES, "QUEEN OF SOUL" lp (ARGO LP 4040, HIGH FIDELITY), definitely her most soulful recording, just hear carefully her version to “Wish Someone Would Care”, Ed Townsend’s “Mello Fellow” or the groovy “Breaking Point”, in ULTRA RARE US ARGO 1st ORIGINAL ULTRA RARE MONO PROMO - NOT FOR SALE pressing, in FINE NEAR MINT CONDITION!!!
Hard cardboard cover is in fine GLOSSY on front, CLEAN on back, STRONG EXCELLENT condition, NO seam splits, NO edge wear, NO writing, NO co or drill holes, only extremely slight ageing/greyish wear only on a tiny area on bottom rear, spine is perfectly intact!!!
Vinyl looks fine EXCELLENT, has only a few hairlines, still keeps nice gloss and shine, plays NEAR MINT!!! There are only a few light hardly audible clicks and ticks but ONLY occasionally on a few most quiet passages or between a few tracks, SOUND IS ABSOLUTELY CRISPY CLEARLY CLEAN AND LOUD WITHOUT ANY DISTRACTED OR ANNOYING NOISE!!! Maybe a nice cleaning would improve the whole audio result even more, but I'll leave that job to you!!!
Labels (ORIGINAL creme NOT FOR SALE with black print, ULTRA HIGH FIDELITY beside vertical “ARGO”, AUDIO ODYSSEY BY ARGO MONO indication, DJLP prefix, REVUE COPY on bottom) are in clean NEAR MINT condition, NO spindle wear, NO marks, NO taping, NO writing, NO any wear at all!!!
Original ARGO inner sleeve is in SUPERB ALMOST PERFECT condition, NO ageing wear, NO seam splits from use, NO yellowing, ONLY extremely slight creases on opening from vinyl in and out!!!
Extremely hard to find THIS ULTRA RARE FIST ORIGINAL STEREO RELEASE in OVERALL EXCELLENT condition!!!
