Up for auction for you is this first album from ETTA JAMES. This original lp is on the CHICAGO ARGO RECORDS label!!! Etta James was 22 years old when this vinyl record was released in the early 1960’s. After years of making stunning hit singles, since 1955, she finally got to do this, her first album!
This album is in a solid VG to better condition. Please listen to what the vinyl sounds like. There is a small amount of static in different areas but not a lot. The selections on the sound clip is from this original vinyl and are a good reflection of what the entire album sounds like.
Both label sides are clean & clear ….
The cover is split open on top and bottom sides.
I did not try to tape the cover edges up because you or someone else out there may be very good at closing the edges in a neat way and would be able to seal edges without some tape covering part of the classic orginal cover. Also you can see in the scan that there is a slight stain in top left front cover. So I would say the cover is in a good condition that needs work and just waiting on a little care for repair by someone that knows how. . . .
Excellent songs on this vinyl lp by a great artist.
