Description

Arthur Rosebery and his Kit Kat Dance Band play "Broadway Melody" and "You Were Meant for Me" on Parlophone R383. It's the hottest version of "Broadway Melody" I've ever heard.  (Is it the hottest you've ever heard?  How would I know that?  What am I, a mind reader?)  Great arrangement, strong rhythm, Bixian trumpet by Max Goldberg, and an outstanding trombone solo by Australian Frank Coughlan.  The other side is good too, especially the trumpet obligato behind the vocal.
