Description

Les French Hot Boys play two hot tunes, "Some of These Days" and "China Boy," on Salabert 3166, in a Salabert sleeve.  Andre Ekyan plays excellently throughout, and his alto sax solo on "Some of These Days" is hair-raising.  Have a listen:  https://clyp.it/q52s5zer?token=a69737ea0956b606ecd4eebdc47e8ece
Andre Ekyan (cl,as); Rene Barry (ts); Jean Thiland (p); Didier Mauprey (b); Charlie Barnes (d).  Recorded in Paris in or about July 1932.
This record is in E condition visually.  "Some of These Days" plays E.  "China Boy" has a slightly noisy start and a little distortion in the loudest passages at the very beginning and very end.  (Even my E+ copy has a little distortion on "China Boy.")  Despite these flaws, it's a very enjoyable listen.
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing.  I know how to pack records.
