Description

The Lud Gluskin Ambassadonions play "How About Me" and "Poor Punchinello" on Tri-Ergon TE 5542.  The former is a peppy, expertly-played foxtrot with a brief, straight trombone solo.  The latter is a waltz.  
Probable personnel: Eddie Ritten, Faustin Jeanjean (tp); Emile Christian (tb); Arthur Pavoni (tu); Gene Prendergast (cl,as); Maurice Cizeron (as,cl,fl); Serge Glykson (as,fl,ts); Georges Charron (ts,cl); Spencer Clark (bassax,cl,xyl,g); Paulie Freed (p,arr); Howard Kennedy (bj); Fred Zierer (vln); Bart Curtis (d,vcl); Lud Gluskin (ldr).  Recorded in Berlin on February 7, 1929.   
This record looks to be in V condition generally, but plays betteer than it looks, about VV+.  There are some scratches that tick lightly in spots.  A one-inch edge bite extends almost to the grooves on "How About Me" and right up to the grooves but not to the music on the other side.  The music is not affected and cueing up the record is no problem.  
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing.  I know how to pack records.
