Riverside RLP-1420, "Everybody Sing!" Vol.3, from the late 1950s. This is subtitled "Songs for Seniors", which appears only to mean 'not for kids'. Original blue-label DG vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background noise. The jacket is VG++ with slight color loss on parts of the seams (nothing much) and a corner bump at upper left. There is otherwise no seamwear, ringwear, rubwear, bends, writing, or stamps, and the jacket is very clean. Artists are Ed McCurdy ("Worried Man Blues"), Jean Ritchie ("Down My Walking Cane"), Milt Okun and Ellen Stekert ("Must I Go Bound", "The Cambric Shirt"), Leon Bibb ("Swing Low"), Peggy Seeger ("Madam I Have Come to Court You"), Ray Boguslav ("Crows in the Garden", "Tobacco is an Indian Weed"), "Herb Strauss ("Aura Lee", "When"), Oscar Brand ("Good Peanuts", "I Don't Want No More of Army Life"), Cynthia Gooding ("Go Away from MY Window", "I Know Where I'm Going"), Peggy Seeger & Ewan MacColl ("Fish of the Seas", "Golden Vanity"), Bascom Lamar Lunsford ("I Shall Not Be Moved", "Weeping Willow Tree"), and Bib Gibson ("Michael Row the Boat Ashore"). For overseas shipments, registered mail is strongly recommended at $11.75 extra. Many old records are practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs together may be mailed inside a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
