THE EVIL ENC. GROUP-45-“The Point Is” b/w “Hey You”-Scene Records #SR 101-KILLER 1966 5-Star 2 sided Garage-Punk out of West Virginia. This record DEFINES 1966 Garage-Punk-total KOOLNESS...all the right elements: A side is fantastic-the overall structure is based on Paul Revere & The Raiders “Steppin’ Out”, great gutteral sneering Sky Saxon-ish lead vocal, Farfisa organ and guitar dominated, with an ULTRAKILLER fuzz guitar lead break. KILLER TRACK. If you are not familiar with this track-take my word for it-it's DEADLY!!! B side is of equal greatness. This is NOT the same “Hey You” as the Guilloteens or Five Of Us...same killer contents as A side with an extended, savage lead fuzz guitar break...like I said 2-sided KILLER. 5-Star punker...10 out of 10 both sides...great rare West Virginia label as well... Condition: Record is MINT-MinusMinus-the extra ‘Minus’ is because of an ever so light surface scratch-not really a scratch, but can be seen in certain light angles on A side-Very Close to MINT...beautiful copy...
