Description

Condition Notes: Contains all 10 records from The Long Harvest series by Argo records released between 1967 & 1968
Full title for the series is 'The Long Harvest – Traditional Ballads in Their English, Scots and North American Variants'
Performed & sung by Ewan MacColl and Peggy Seeger (playing a variety of instruments including: 5-string banjo, guitar, Appalachian dulcimer, concertina and autoharp)
Released in July 1967 (Vols 1-4), 1968 (Vols 5-10) by Argo records - released & imported from England
Whole set was from original owner and well cared for

General notes on grading: VG / VG+
Most records play VG+, but will grade them in range from VG to VG+, some have some light marks that cause some light surface noise - mostly present at the beginning of the records - a good proper cleaning would likely correct
All records contain original booklet with song info and lyrics - some booklets were highlighted / written in - the original owner was a musician and used these as a reference for performing the songs
Some of the sleeves had seam either repaired or strengthen with clear tape, some were repaired with masking tape
All records except one have their original Argo issued poly lined paper inner sleeves
