This album was the fourth release for the now stella band. It was let loose on the British public on April the 16th 1966 and onto the US public by the 20th of June 1966 (by London Records, rather than the Decca label).
This album was the very first album to contain ONLY compositions of Jagger and Richards-so this proved to be a breakthrough for the band. Reaching number 1 in the UK and number 2 in the USA (again with different track listings for UK and US releases).

What a Lovely sheen. I have just given her a professional clean and then a good, loud listen to and WOW-how raw & clear! Turn it right up and clear yer ears out!!
There are only a few superficial, light scuff marks to  the vinyl providing barely any background noise!! The singular point I found was right at the end of track 2, side 2...there was a tiny, tiny skip-which I am sure will play over with a slightly heavier stylus than mine...This is why I have knocked the price down, otherwise it would easily command £150+.
Check out the DEEP bass when 'Under My Thumb' kicks in.
FLAT as the day she was born.

There are light spindle marks visible when angled towards the light but barely any central hole wear.

The back card is slightly discolured through the passage of time....Aren't we all?!

NO splits/tears....It remains as solid now as it was when born-53 years ago! Even the print is as sharp now as it was then and the colours are simply magical.
Just some gentle rubbing to the corners...that really is all!

Inner:

It is the ORIGINAL DECCA inner, with the plastic lining and the dotted boxes to the front and "Made In England" to the bottom right corner.
It also has the very early "Foreign Patents Pending" statement to the bottom left corner-showing how early this inner really is and how it perfectly marries together with the sleeve.
NO splits to the seams and only some discolouration from age.
Certainly done her job by looking after this record all this time.

SO FOLKS, HERE'S A GREAT ALBUM, IN SUPERB SHAPE, WITH TOP AUDIO, FATNATSTICALLY WELL LOOKED AFTER COVER. AS WELL AS THE ORIGINAL INNER BEING IN TOP SHAPE, VERY EARLY AND PERFECTLY MARRIED TOGETHER WITH THIS EARLY PRESSING!
