Here's a SUPERBLY well looked after Beatles album. This is a RARE French pressing made for U.K. export!
In late 1973 the EMI pressing plant in Hayes, London was being remodeled and for a short time farmed out some of their vinyl pressing to the Pathe Marconi plant in France.
They sent the UK stampers and used UK covers.
They even copied the "Mfd. in U.K." labels, but added "Made In France by Pathe Marconi" at the top.
These are now quite hard to come by.

 The Vinyl:
EX.
 It is in simply lovely, SUPERB condition. Wonderfully clean and clear playback. Barely a mark to her and the few I can barely see when angled towards the light are so faint they hardly register on playback at all-The single point of note was a tiny, tiny skip on Rocky Raccoon near the end-Which I am sure will play over with a slightly heavier stylus than mine. This is why she only has an EX grading rather than EX+ Nmint...The rest of the album sounds bloody great!
The audio really did shine out when I listened to both of the records all the way through on my Focus One deck.
Clear audio-just a bit of dust and static-that really is all!!

The Labels:
NMint
 They are in a NMint condition..I cannot even see any spindle marks!
NO WRITING
They are the very first pressing with the darker labels.
"An EMI Recording" as well as "Mfd. in U.K' to each of the labels....Which is unusual as they were manufactured in France due to the closure of the pressing plant in the UK.
VERY, VERY DISPLAYABLE.
Simply put: They are an UPGRADE!!

The Cover:
EX+/NMint!
**Carries the ultra rare "MADE IN FRANCE" sticker to the back panel**
She is fully laminated and in simply magical condition too.
 With NO spidering to mention to it's laminate (1 very small line of 3cm to the bottom right corner of the front panel from a gentle knock-but that is all), she really is a keeper.
Being ultra critical there is a just a slight knock to the bottom of the spine-but this is not visible from the front, only the back..Really isn't worth mentioning at all really!
Side opening.
Superbly strong spine and wonderfully sharp corners too.

The Inners:
EX+
Both of the inners are the original die-cut inners.
MADE IN ENGLAND printed to the side of one of the inners, but strangely no text at all on the other-even though it is exactly the same die-cut inner..
NO writing
Some light age discolouration-like me ;)
 They have certainly done their job in keeping the vinyl in great condition.

The 4 pictures:
They are in great condition and all present.
WITHOUT pin holes to the corners-as you'd normally find.
They are slightly different to the UK release as they seem inferior in quality. They are still on heavy-weight glossy photo paper, but they also seem larger...Please see the detailed images for yourselves.
There is a little discoloration/light rubbing  to the back of them but nothing offesnive at all.

The Poster:
EX.
She is in super shape too....It looks to have been very well looked after. There are some small spots of blooming to the paper due to age but nothing to worry about at all.
It is the heavy paper 1st edition and uncensored.
