A Hard Day's Night
LOOKS & SOUNDS F-A-B!!!
This Lp was released on the 10th July1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

EX. Lovely heavy vinyl with a gorgeous sheen. There are just a few VERY light marks, but NOTHING TO AFFECT PLAYBACK-I have just listened her all the way through and didn't find any less enjoyment in playback, just a little background crackle, that's it! Very nice indeed.
Visually fantastic-Side 2 has some light dirt marks, which would dissapear alltogether with a professional clean-upgrading her further!

Labels: EX-. Lovely and clear. Quite a few light spindle marks but only visible under bright light, with minimal amount of central hole wear...Please see the pictures provided.
Outer text "The Gramophone Co. LTD" it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.

Cover: EX+!! Solid, small mono in top right corner. Shiny front cover...There are only a very few small areas of spidering, mainly eminating as little fingers from the seams!! I can see around 6 small crescents of spidering near the opening.
THAT'S IT!
Still has a VERY bright white card backing.
The Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks are LOVELY AND STRONG. On one of them there is a small sticker (easily removed-if you wanted) stating it was sold be "Boots The Chemist Ltd..." I have left it on as I think it adds to the history of UK music, back in the day....How many Chemists can you go in now and buy a vinyl Lp??!!
