A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

I HAVE JUST LISTENED TO HER ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND WAS OVER THE MOON WITH THE AUDIO REPRODUCTION!
*I have only just fitted a new Audio Technica stylus to my SME arm-on my Focus One Deck*
!!Wonderfully clear-even in the run-ins and inbetween tracks to!!
The drums are gorgeous at the start of "What You're Doing" :)

Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Minimal hole wear-not really worth mentioning.
Lovely, clear silver text.
VERY DISPLAYABLE

Cover:
VG.
Mono outline in top right corner. Shiny front and back cover...There are 2 small crescents of spidering to the front laminate, as well as some small fingers of spidering emanating from the spine.
There is a fine split to the bottom & top seem of the right gatefold panel-nothing terrible at all and will not be seen if framing her.
The corners have some very light knocking to them -that really is it!
The spine is still clearly legible and still wonderfully strong-as are the inner flipbacks..
No Writing ANYWHERE!!
DEEP, RICH COLOURS REMAIN!!
