This was the Beatles' second official release, following their hugely popular Please Please Me. This record was released on the 30th November 1963 and went to the number 1 position (knocking of their own Please Please Me lp) on the 7th of December. Staying at number 1 for 21 weeks! As a little note: they had already sold 250,000 copies before the release and so accepted a silver disc BEFORE release!

NEAR MINT!
 I can only see one or two incredibly light, wispy marks to the viny...SOUNDS SIMPLY MAGICAL...I have just listened to the record without a problem...NO background noise to speak of.  
The guitar almost makes you jump when she kicks in at the start of side 2!
GORGEOUS flat, heavy and shiny original vinyl.
I cannot remember the last time I have seen this pressing in such MAGICAL condition...The weight is superb, the audio sublime and the visiual, well, STUNNING!

Just some incredibly light spindle marks, visible under bright light and looking for them, with barely any amount of hole wear.
Lovely prominant "KT" tax code side 1.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co."  No "Sold In" text.

 Larger Mono in top right corner. Only a small amount of spidering crescents near the opening-nothing to worry about at all.
Just ever-so-slight discolouration to the back card...It remains WHITE!
Wonderfully strong spine, with just a few fingers of spidering eminating from it.
"You Really Gotta a Hold On Me" IN-correct track listing to the back. VERY strong and clean flipbacks.


Inner:

It is the ORIGINAL  USE EMITEX tracing paper-lined, double windowed inner, in GREAT shape. There is some light discolouration and light creases, but....
