(Professionally cleaned with Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum Record Cleaner)

This was the very first official release, being released on the 22nd of March 1963 (MONO version) and later on the 26th of April 1963 (STEREO version). The Lp reached number one in; Disc Weekly, Melody Maker,  New Musical Express and The Record Retailer in the UK. Only to be knocked off by their next album With The Beatles.

 Amazingly the songs, which were taken from their first two singles and included a further ten songs, were all recorded in one marathon session at Abbey Road Studios. John wasn't feeling too well and got throught the 3 sessions in the one day by having milk, tea and Zubes lozenges....

 Wonderful, heavy vinyl, with just a light marks to her, from removal and replacement!!
I have just finished listening to all of her......WOW!!!!!!!
Lovely quiet run-ins with just a little crcakle on the run-outs....incredibly quiet inbetween tracks too....SUPERB.
An utter joy to listen too....the audio was deep and rich throughout..
Only very VERY occasional and very light and minimal background noise...All I noticed were around 4 very light pops between tracks 4 and 5. Also noted was a very light revolutionary spot of crackle on track 6..This is being very open and honest, as well as being rather critical...The audio really was superbly rich and clear for the majority.
CERTAINLY NO JUMPS OR SKIPS....My arm was set on a very light setting too.
 Superb rich deep bass reproduction.
FLAT, HEAVY AND ORIGINAL!

The labels stand out nice and clean, with no writing or rips.
 Outer rim text starts with "The Parlophone Co.Ltd" "Recording First Published 1963" stated under the printed matrix number.

Wonderfully vibrant in colour-with THE BEATLES in yellow really standing out.
 There is only very light wear to this cover...with only around 6 light & small crescents of spidering to the laminate near the opening. With just a few very small fingers of spidering eminating from the seams..
STRONG, INTACT & PREFECTLY LEGIBLE SPINE
NO WRITING
LOVELY card backing with light discolouration-as can be seen in the detailed image provided.
There is a very small-less than 1cm-tear at the opening-nothing at all to worry about....Still remains EXCELLENT!
SHARP & STRONG CORNERS
FANTASTICALLY SOLID
The rounded flipbacks are in TOP condition.
LARGE MONO
WOULD FRAME VERY WELL INDEED!


All in all this copy provides a wonderful deep and rich sound...
