Description
Here is a RARE Christmas album from my collection offered up for sale: The classic Bing Crosby album "Merry Christmas" fantastically preserved early 78 rpm records (4 X) 10 inch pressing released in 1949 on Decca records 550 Music features Bing's smooth low voice with the Andrews sisters, "Silent Night", "White Christmas", "Jingle Bells","God rest ye merry gentlemen", "I'll be home for Christmas", "Adeste Fideles", "Faith of our fathers",and "Santa Claus is coming to town"!
The records grade EX, are super clean and glossy, Discs have been PLAY TESTED, play great from start to finish with very good sound quality, a very enjoyable listen! two small chips are noted on one side only, They do not go into the grooves but are only in the outer lead in ring. Both sides played without any issue on my 78 player. (see photos)
The book type cover rates VG+, is clean and bright with no ring wear, binder edge EX and readable, edges and corners excellent, no signatures or writing. (see photos) This one has been VERY well cared for! Hard to believe these disks are 80 years old!! (see all photos)
