Description
Here is a favorite album from my collection offered up for sale: Jazz vocal artist Julie London's 1955 album "Julie Is Her Name", released by Liberty Records LRP 3006 MONO, this is a 1956 second pressing with the "turquoise" labels and heavy vinyl, has printed inner sleeve. Album features cool song "Cry Me A River" with her smooth expressive vocal and great backing music, this is her first album that launches her super star career! Hard to find in this nice condition!
The vinyl rates strong EX, is super glossy and clean, has only one small light mark to a pristine looking disc, looks rarely played! PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with excellent sound quality, bright clear sound with just a bit of light surface noise in some quiet spots, no skips or jumps, a very enjoyable listen! Labels are super clean, only a couple faint spindle marks.
The cover rates strong EX, is super clean, has great front portrait with gloss and no ring wear, edges/corners with minimal wear, had one small center split at bottom neatly re-glued (unnoticeable), no tape, binder edge is EX and readable, minimal age discoloration on back, no signatures or writing, no stains, a well cared for 62 year old album. The inner sleeve is clean, has age discoloration and small a couple splits at opening. (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a .3 ml plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in "throw away" paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover/sleeve splits.
