Here is a SUPER RARE vintage Johnny Cash album from my collection offered up for sale: "JOHNNY CASH Sings The Songs That Made Him Famous" Johnny's 2nd ever album on SUN Records signaling a long and productive career! Released by Sun Records in 1958, 1235 (Mono), possibly the FIRST PRESS featuring the heavy rigid disc and yellow Sun "Microgroove" labels, the deadwax is stamped with mastering expert Sheldon symbol! The vinyl rates EX, is clean and glossy, some light marks and sleeve wear, nothing heavy, has been very well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with excellent audio clarity, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! The SUN labels are in EX condition, clean and bright, no signatures, no heavy spindle wear! The jacket rates EX, is clean, still has deep color, nice portrait of Johnny, edges and corners solid except two partial splits at bottom that have been neatly taped, the binder edge EX and readable, back cover has bright white, has faint sticker shadow, no signatures or writing, no stains, has been very well cared for!
