Here is a vintage PROMO album from my collection offered up for sale: A RARE ORIGINAL 1964 Vee Jay radio station disc jockey PROMO LP ALBUM "Jimmy Reed PLAYS 12 STRING GUITAR" has cool vintage "COAST RADIO of Sacramento California" plastic outer sleeve! Features very cool renditions of Jimmy's great songs with Jimmy playing the melody on the 12 string to original vocal-less tracks!!! Featuring songs "Big Boss Man, Baby What You Want Me To Do, Bright lights Big City, Aw shucks hush your Mouth, Take out some Insurance" and more! Long Playing Mono. This was released in 1964 on Vee Jay VJLP 1073 (Mono) with the special white Long Playing Microgroove labels.
The heavy weight record is glossy and very clean, rates EX, has only a few light marks on one side, the other side is pristine, has been PLAY TESTED. Play great from start to finish, an errant light pop, otherwise excellent sound quality, a VERY enjoyable listen! The white TV RADIO DJ "Advance Sample" labels are both in EX shape, no writing or radio station marring! The cover rates EX, is super clean, all edges and corners EX, binder edge readable, no splits, no tape, only flaw is a name written on back. The "COAST RADIO" printed plastic outer sleeve is clean, no splits! (see all photos)
