Description
Here is a cool surf theme album from my collection offered up for sale: This is an original 1963 USA pressing of album "JAN & DEAN SURF CITY AND OTHER SWINGING CITIES", released by LIBERTY Records LRP-3314 (Mono), has the heavy vinyl and early 1960's horizontal Statue of Liberty labels, printed inner sleeve. Features title track "Surf City" a HIT song written with Brian Wilson. It was a HIT for them before The Beach Boys first hit, landing Brian in hot water with Dad. Backing band features legendary musicians Leon Russell (piano), Glen Campbell (guitar) and Hal Blaine (drums)".
The vinyl rates EX, is super glossy and clean, has just a few light marks, nothing heavy, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays from start to finish with excellent sound quality!
The cover rates EX, is clean and bright with almost no ring wear, edges and corners have minimal wear but bottom had opening split neatly re-glued, no tape, binder edge readable, back has a small tear to slick at top corner, no stains, no signatures or writing, has a been well cared for 56 year old cover! Inner sleeve is clean, has splits neatly taped. (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a .3ml plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in a paper inner sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits.
