Description
Here is an album from my collection offered up for auction: An original Lp album "MEET THE BEATLES". This is a first pressing with the brown "Meet The Beatles" banner, released in 1964 by Capitol records ST 2047 (there is a number 6 on the bottom right hand corner of the rear cover. There are George Martin producer credits, ten BMI publishing credits). The cover is very nice overall! Rates a strong VG++, has only light wear, light sticker remnants on the upper right front, the binder edge has a partial split but is still readable, a small split top and bottom seams at openings, small pen marks on back. This cover still has great color, is clean, looks great! (see photos) The record grades EX, is beautiful and glossy! Clean pristine looking lp, has been PLAY TESTED. This record plays great from start to finish with excellent sound quality,only a few LIGHT errant pops, almost unnoticeable. The Capitol labels are black with the color band, there is a small signature on the Side One label edge. Includes original bright blue Capitol inner sleeve in nice shape. There is NO RESERVE PRICE!
