Here is a RARE fantastically preserved vintage Lp album from my collection offered up for sale: This is "Jefferson Airplane Takes Off", their historic debut album from 1966. This is an early MONO pressing released on RCA Records on LPM-3584 RE stereo. This is the RARE UNCENSORED TRACKS version before RCA demanded lyrics be changed on "Let me In"! This debut album has been labeled as one of the first psych rock albums and it still holds up superbly to all listeners and music lovers. It is still rated in the top rock albums of all time! Great album, songs include Tobacco Road, "Let's Get Together", "Blues from an Airplane, It's no secret and many more! The music on this album is fantastic! Multi talented Skip Spence was the original drummer for Jefferson Airplane and is featured on this, their debut album "Jefferson Airplane Takes off". Spence would go on to form super psych rock group "Moby Grape" as their guitarist and songwriter. Airplane original vocalist Signe Toly Anderson is obviously gifted and does a superb job on all the songs duo-ing with bandleader Marty Balin with Paul Kantner!
The vinyl record rates EX, is super glossy and clean, faint sleeve wear marks only, nothing heavy. PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, bright sound, Very minimal surface noise, no skips, no jumps, a very enjoyable listen!
The cover rates EX, is super clean and bright, shows No readily visible minimal handling wear, all edges are solid, no splits, binder edge is excellent and readable, no ring wear, has been very well cared for! Frame-worthy!!! (see all photos)
