Description
Here is a RARE Beatles album offered up for sale: Their 1968 album "The Beatles" or more commonly called "The White Album", this is a 1st pressing*, has original cover with low number "A 0567166", super hard to find! It still has original poster and photo inserts with yellow photo divider, released in 1968 by Apple Records SBWO 101 Stereo, both discs have Apple labels, looks minimally handled.
*Note: Disc 1-2 is an original pressing, has the tiny Capitol logo in the perimeter print, disc 3-4 has no Capitol logo (1971 press), a slight label variation, barely noticeable, both discs looks minimally played.
The vinyl grades EX, are both super clean and glossy, only a few light marks, nothing heavy, have been well cared for! PLAY TESTED, both discs play great from start to finish with excellent sound quality, clear sound, minimal surface noise, a VERY enjoyable listen!
The cover rates EX, white is clean and still has gloss, minimal discoloration, edges show minimal wear but several partial splits were neatly re-glued (somewhat noticeable), no tape, the binder edge print is faded and not readable, top edge and corner has a couple small bumps, front has a few linear indents (unnoticeable), no signatures, has been very well cared for!
The 4 portraits are on heavy paper and are still super glossy and clean, look minimally handled, divider sheet clean and bright.
The original poster, is also on heavy paper, says "made in USA" (no Apple logo), is in only fair condition. It is clean and bright but has moderate signs of handling, has several small splits at folds neatly taped. (see all photos).
Will be shipped in plastic outer sleeves in record box with a tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits.
