Description
Here is a classic Dead album offered up for auction: The Grateful Dead's "Aoxomoxoa" the 1969 album in well cared for condition! This is the W7 original pressing released in 1969 on Warner Brothers "Seven Arts" WS-1790 stereo. This is the RARE first pressing featuring the UNREMIXED version of this album, later pressings had been re-mixed and a disclaimer was printed on the back cover stating "Remixed by Phil Lesh. . . 1971". This vinyl rates EX, is clean and glossy, has some light age spots and a couple of light marks, nothing heavy, has been well cared for! Was PLAY TESTED and plays from start to finish with excellent sound quality, minimal surface noise, no skips, no jumps, a very enjoyable listen! The hand etching in the dead wax reads side one reads 1 39493 WS 1790 A RE-1 -1E and a circle symbol. Side two reads 1 39494 WS 1790 B RE-1 -1B and a circle symbol. The vintage green Seven Arts labels are bright and clean, show minimal wear! The cool cover rates VG+, close to EX, artwork is clean and bright, no ring wear, it has some edge and corner wear, the top and bottom seams have been neatly repaired with non-yellowing tape (unnoticeable), the binder edge has some wear but is readable, no stains, no signatures or writing, the back is bright white and has a number 5 in bottom corner. Includes a vintage WB/Reprise inner sleeve! cool art work by Rick Griffin, a beautiful frame worthy cover!(see photos) There is NO RESERVE PRICE!
