Here is a unusual double album from my collection offered up for sale: An original 1972 two album LP The Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" a special re-pressing in MONO, "the way Brian cut it" with "Carl And The Passions" album "So Tough". Released by The Beach Boys own Brother Records, 2MS 2083, both discs have "Artisan" stamp in dead wax for acclaimed mastering. Pet Sounds was a ground breaking release when it came out, now considered a MUST for any serious record collection, here you get two for one, discs look minimally played!
The vinyl rates EX, both are super clean and glossy, Pet Sounds disc is near pristine except for a couple of faint sleeve marks, So Tough disc has a couple small light marks, both look minimally played and have been well cared for! PLAY TESTED, this album plays from start to finish with excellent sound quality!
The cover rates VG+, has bright colors with only light ring wear, binder edge excellent and readable, edges have minimal wear, no splits, no tape, bottom seam on So Tough side has small rub/faint spot stain, inside gatefold clean, Pet Sounds side with just a bit of wear at top center seam, inner sleeves have center splits neatly taped, one has a small spot stain near the top of seam.
