This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

 Lovely heavy vinyl. There are only a few very light wispy marks to the vinyl....After giving her a gentle vacuum clean, followed by an ultrasonic clean, I played her all the way through I found the sound reproduction to be wonderfully clean and clear!
Even the run-ins were lovely and quiet....BARELY ANY background noise to note!
DEEP RICH BASS WITH THE QUALITY MONO AUDIO BLASTING OUT WITH CLARITY
 Very nice indeed.

Lovely and clear. Only a small handful of insignificant and light spindle marks-visible only when angled towards bright light, with barely ANY central hole wear, as you can see in the images provided.
 Outer text "The Parlophone Co. LTD" (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.

 "MT" tax code side 1.
(quite faint but definately there)

(This is an unusual tax code for this lp as the MT tax code was used from January 1963 only until the 1st of June 1963...a very short running indeed and as this record was released in November 1963 it is a very unusual label indeed!)

RARE E J DAY COVER-These were made for just a few hundred releases of this record and are quite difficult to find in any condition. They mark the very 1st release of this record too!

 Solid, small mono in top right corner.
Shiny front cover...With just a few small fingers of spidering to the front laminted cover.
REALLY NICE, DISPLAYABLE CONDITION!!
Only some very slight discolouration to the white card backing...SUPERB!
Good strong corners too, with minimal storage wear or rubbing.
WONDERFUL EJ Day flipbacks-in great condition..Lovely and clean.
Superbly strong and legible spine.
NO RIPS/TEARS OR SPLITS
Has "Printed and made by Ernest J Day & Co. Ltd. London" lovely and clear to back bottom right corner flipback....As a note the more common is EJ Day rather than the full name of Ernest J Day (like this one!)

AN GREAT EXAMPLE OF AN EXCELLENT RECORD WITH THE RARER 'ERNEST J DAY' COVER-WHICH WAS ONLY RELEASED IN A VERY LIMITED NUMBER FOR THIS ALBUM-AND IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION.
ALL TOGETHER WITH THE CORRECT EMITEX INNER AS WELL.
SOUNDS GREAT AND STILL LOOKS GREAT TOO.
