The MMT Ep was released on the 8th of December 1967 but in the USA it was released 11 days earlier on LP!
It entered the UK charts on the 13th and stayed there for 12 weeks, rising to the No. 2 slot, being stopped by another Beatles track: "Hello Goodbye" to reach the top slot.
Marketed as:
"A 32 page full colour book packed with exclusive pictures, a strip cartoon of the original story, plus the words to the songs in the show !"

The vinyl:

There are only some very small and very light marks to the vinyl....Not many of these either.....Wonderfully shiny.
I have just gently vacuum cleaned each record and then listened to both discs all the way through. I was very happy with the sound reproduction...Noticing only a very small amount of background noise in the quieter sections, nothing at all to spoil my enjoyment.

"KT" tax code stamped into each run-off groove.
SOUNDS MAGICAL!!!
The Labels:

Lovely and clean...Just a handful of very faint spindle traces, visible when angled towards the light, with barely any wear to the central hole.
Sides 2 & 4 have the embossed KT tax code to the centre.
NO WRITING
The Cover:

Superbly strong and UNCRUSHED spine, with just one small patch of lifting at the bottom of the spine-nothing bad at all. BARELY ANY rubbing to the corners!
Not even ANY spidering to the front or back laminate!
WOW!
Gorgeously strong Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks....Really, REALLY nice example.
NO rips/tears or writing!
The Booklet:

Superbly intact, with the all important BLUE lyric sheet, still attached by the original 3 staples...With only one staple showing some rust, whilst the other two are in remarkably clean condition.
No writing of any sort and still bright with colour and white pages standing out...Simply lovely!
