This EX+ complete 1977 package is a rare find and showcases Pink Floyd's exceptional progressive, rock, and psychedelic genre.

Here is Pink Floyds 10th album and one of my favourites. I have cleaned this album and then listened to it-all the way through..TWICE ;) Just because it's such a fantastic album....This is what I found..

The Vinyl:

Superb audio.

Visually, I can see just a few of the slightest, light wispy marks to the vinyl, when angled towards bright light.

After giving her an ultrasonic bath, I played her all the way through and found an incredibly clean and clear audio reproduction-especially with my new Audio Technica stylus fitted...IT SOUNDED AMAZING!

Just utter clarity throughout the whole of playback...So much so, I am very tempted to keep her.

The audio was wonderfully rich with clear peaks and bassy troughs-the lyrics to the forefront, backed up by the thundering music-simply gorgeous!

Even the run-ins and outs were as silent as you could ever hope for..Very critically-I did notice 4 very soft little pops in the run-in on side 2..Nothing bad at all (I have included this in the clip provided-so you can see how insignificant it is). Only a few of the very faintest of distant soft OCCASIONAL little pops-even the segway into Pigs (part 2), with the bird song is incredibly clean and clear...Quite amazing really...Most people wouldn’t even mention this as I have had brand new pressings with more background little bit of noise than this copy!) That temptation to keep her returned!

FLAT as the day she was born and as glossy too.

The Labels:

They have kept thier vibrant colour -WITHOUT any signs of wear..Incredible.

NO WRITING.

NO STICKERS.

Not even any spindle marks !

The Cover:

Gatefold.

It is a SUPERB copy of a 1st press...WIDE SPINE, which is perfectly intact and remains strong and uncrushed.

There is just some very light rubbing to the edges and the corners are rubbed too, but again, nothing terrible at all.

The inside image of the gatefold is in great condition.

The Inner:

It is the ORIGINAL 1st pressing lyric inner.

It is perfectly intact...However, the bottom seam has been rubbed in a small section, which has just broken through, for about 2.5cm. I shall ship this record in a seperate inner to avoid any damage in transit.

The very 1st rounded corners and thumb notch opening.

SO FOLKS...HERE IS A VERY EARLY 1st PRESS OF A SUPERB ALBUM...STILL PROVIDING WONDERFUL CLEAR AUDIO AND ALL TOGETHER IN THE ORIGINAL 1977 PACKAGE.
