As the name of the lp suggests, it was the 2nd Stones album. Recorded in both the USA and the UK it was released on the 15th of january 1965, where it reached the top slot in early 1965 and stayed there for 10 weeks.

WOW-A VERY EARLY PRESSING HERE

EX. Only light marks to the vinyl.  After just playing her all the way through I have thoroughly enjoyed the playback. There's some occasional and very light background noise, which I am sure will reduce with a proffessional clean.
Even the run-ins are quiet!!!...Really, REALLY happy with the audio reproduction-so much so, if she doesn't sell I am very happy to keep her in my personal collection.
CERTAINLY NO SKIPS OR JUMPS
HAND-CLAPPING FINE!!!
Flat as the day she was born.

There are a few small areas of spidering areas to the laminate, but nothing terrible-the top left corner has a line of spidering, denoting the outline of the record from being housed inside for the last 50 years!!
The back card is still nice-lightly discoloured through age & some light staining...Small name to the top left corner.
Bottom left corner to the front has some discolouration too.
Would frame well as an example for the later corrected BLINDMAN text..
NO splits or tears.
STRONG & legible spine.

Labels: EX-. The labels are gorgeously deep red in colour and has the all important UNBOXED DECCA. Spindle marks visible when angled to the light and only minimal hole wear! Very nice example.
This is probably the 2nd label used on No2 as it has the short top text and the publishing info below the Rolling Stones at 6 O'clock. All labels made during the end of 1965 and later have the long top text.
