A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

WOW! Incredibly early-with side 2 being one of the first 300 EVER pressed!
Vinyl: EX-. Superb heavy vinyl. The vinyl has a few lightest of light hairline marks.
Having said that, I have just finished playing her and just found light background noise which would be greatly reduced with a professional clean.
She still retains all her sheen and glory!
Gorgeously flat
Just: GORGEOUS
Labels: EX-. Lovely and clear. There are a few very light spindle marks visible only when angled towards the light.
Light blooming to the label, again, only visible when angled towards the light.
'KT' tax code to side 2.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Barely any amount of hole wear-not really worth mentioning.
Lovely, clear silver text.
Cover: VG++.
VERY HARD TO FIND THESE DELICATE COVERS IN SUCH FAB CONDITION.
Mono outline in top right corner. Shiny front and back cover...There are a few tiny crescent spidering areas to the two sided laminate (more so denoting the outline of the record to the back laminate), with a couple of small finger spiderings emanating from the spine and bottom of the gatefold sleeve...
The top and bottom corners of the spine have some rubbing.
The inner flipbacks are still wonderfully strong, with the spine having light rubbing and has been lightly squished.
No Writing ANYWHERE!!
Inner: EX-. The ORIGINAL 'Use Emitex with just a small amount of foxing...THAT'S IT!

It has certainly done it's job in keeping the record in great shape.
